Craig Tomlin is a released rapist and one of the two central murder victims of Vigilante in CSI:NY.

Vigilante[]

Tomlin was represented by Annie Cartland in defense in court and had a sentence reduction to five years, which disgusted Cartland despite it still being her job and succeeding in the deal. She and Heather Marist, a victim of Prospect Park Rapist Garland Clarke, conspired to kill Tomlin for revenge, but started with Clarke by luring the rapist out with Marist and them torturing Clarke to death similarly to the rapes and leaving Clarke dead at Prospect Park, where the women who were raped were left. The two women then lured Tomlin to a parking garage, where Tomlin was held down before being tortured and killed as well, but there was more of a struggle and the attack wasn't as planned as a mace can didn't work and the voice scrambler used in 911 calls to lead to both crime scenes was found smashed at Tomlin's murder. The voice on the phone was reverse engineered to lead to Marist, and a crystal at Tomlin's scene had an engraved microdot tracing to Cartland's gold earrings, leading to sure evidence to charge the two women with murder.
