Drew Bedford, formerly Andrew "Andy" Davis, a.k.a. "The 333 Stalker", is a stalker and murderer who stalked Mac during Season Four of CSI: NY.

Background

Andy was the youngest of the three Davis brothers, who were friends with Mac Taylor when they were children. The oldest brother, Will, would make deliveries for a local mobster named Bobby O'Toole. One night, Mac and Jimmie tagged along. Though they didn't allow Andy to come with them, he discreetly followed them anyway. At O'Toole's apartment, something went wrong, and he started beating Will. Mac drew O'Toole's gun out of a drawer to stop him but was unable to pull the trigger. Jimmie then took it from him and shot O'Toole in the chest, killing him. Unfortunately, Will didn't survive. Mac and Jimmie fled from the scene, unaware that what they did would classify as self-defense. Andy, who witnessed everything unseen, was traumatized for life, but kept it a secret. After Mac's big drug bust in "Snow Day", which led to the press praising him as a hero, he snapped, changed his name to "Drew Bedford" and began stalking Mac, feeling that his hero status was undeserved because he didn't save Will all those years ago. He used "333", O'Toole's apartment number, as his signature. He also started wooing Stella in order to get closer to Mac. During Season 4, Stella was approached by Drew Bedford in a coin shop during a case and he gave her some information that helped her, took her card that she left for the owner of the shop, then met her again at a coffee cart near the lab and asked her out.

After these meetings he began to send Stella unique gifts: rock climbing gear, a parachute, flowers and other items in order to try to woo her. While returning from court, Stella finds a box on the hood of her car and after it is revealed to be a harmless jigsaw she assumes it came from Drew and goes to confront him about it and after taking pieces out of the box and looking at them he says he did not send it to her. After the puzzle is assembled in the lab, there are pieces missing. Stella goes back to Drew's office and looks for the missing pieces; she find puzzle pieces of the same style but they do not match the puzzle in the lab.

It is later revealed that Drew is one of Mac's childhood friends who, unbeknownst to Mac, had witnessed his own brother's murder. After the events of Snow Day, Drew snapped and later began stalking Mac and to a lesser extent Stella also. He eventually captures Mac and sets a trap so if Mac moves, a gun shoots him in the head. He also sets it up so that whoever comes through the door to rescue Mac is killed by a shotgun. However, when Jimmie learns of what Drew is up to, he offers his help in stopping him. He calls Drew from Stella's phone and tries to talk him down. When he fails and when Drew realizes that Jimmie is nearby, Jimmie tells his brother he is coming in and comes through the door. Jimmie is shot in the chest but survives due to a bulletproof vest. As Drew moves in front of his gun trap, Mac triggers it, causing Drew to be shot by his own trap non-fatally. Drew draws a gun to shoot Mac, but Mac grabs the gun from the trap and shoots Drew in the forearm, injuring and disarming him.

Drew is arrested and when asked by Flack asks Mac why he didn't kill Drew as cops are taught in such a situation, he explains that he felt that Drew and Jimmie had lost enough.

Сериал начинается с того, что в упомянутый выше отдел под начало сурового полковника Элая Макнолти (Деннис Хоппер) приходит новый сотрудник, бывший полевой агент, майор Джим Тисневски (Бенджамин Брэтт). Хотя, по идее, Тисневски мог бы заниматься сугубо бумажной работой, он почти в каждой серии принимает участие в опасных полевых операциях, то спасая коллег, то преследуя террористов. Сценаристы проявляют чудеса изворотливости, обосновывая появление майора Тисневски в той или иной «горячей точке» и стараясь свести повторы к минимуму. Сюжеты эпизодов не слишком замысловаты, однако логических нестыковок сравнительно немного, а сцены экшен сняты достаточно убедительно (рука Брукхаймера хорошо видна!). Чтобы сотрудники «пятого кольца» выглядели на экране не только бравыми вояками, но и обычными людьми, авторы вынуждены время от времени «утеплять» образы, напоминая о личной жизни персонажей… То есть нет: напоминать приходится как раз о том, насколько мало времени остается главным героям на эту самую личную жизнь. В отделе спецопераций выходных не бывает, каждого сотрудника могут выдернуть в любую секунду. Таким образом, ни у Макнолти, ни у его помощницы, сержанта Джослин Пирс (Онжаню Эллис), ни у самого Тисневски элементарно не хватает времени на что-то более-менее серьезное. По объективным причинам нет будущего у романа майора с агентессой ЦРУ Энджи Аронсон (Келси Олдершоу), но и наметившийся любовный альянс между Тисневски и помощницей министра обороны, умной и энергичной Самантой Листон (Келли Разерфорд), не может развиваться: блондинка с боксерским прозвищем Сонни Листон внезапно становится начальницей майора. А подобного рода отношения между старшим и младшим по званию на территории Пентагона категорически возбраняются воинским уставом. В последней серии майор (вернее, уже подполковник) Тисневски, гоняясь за мексиканским наркобароном, настигает его на территории США, где спецподразделению Пентагона действовать возбраняется. Героя могут засудить за превышение полномочий, и лишь тогда Джим с Самантой оказываются в одной постели: дескать, семь бед – один ответ! Как могли бы развиваться отношения героев дальше? Получил ли Тисневски тюремный срок за свою героическую самодеятельность, или все как-нибудь обошлось? Вернули ли на службу полковника Макнолти, уволенного за то, что честный старик пошел наперекор начальству? Ответов на эти важные вопросы зритель так и не получит. Увы, продюсеров не впечатлил недостаточно высокий рейтинг сериала, и тот не был продлен на второй сезон. А ведь жаль: это, между прочим, был первый – и на сегодняшней день чуть ли не единственный! – приключенческий сериал про Пентагон. Надо было, пожалуй, все-таки сохранить «Последний рубеж» в телеэфире.
