Invasion is the fifteenth episode in Season Two of CSI: Miami.
Synopsis[]
When a former surf champion is murdered in his home, the CSIs are determined to find the killer. Ted Henderson is killed in his own home and his body is missing while his wife and son are left beaten and bound. While searching the son's room, Horatio finds heroin in the son's room and learns that he is secretly a drug dealer.
Plot[]
The victim's son wanted to become as successful as his father and so became a drug dealer, however he since contracted a great debt and to pay for it concocted a scheme to rob his own house. Unknown to the son his chosen partner, Joseph Zellar, was his mother's former lover who then took the opportunity to abduct and kill the victim to have her back. After the mother gives a necklace Zellar made for her the team is able to match its tool marks to the murder gun and he's arrested. The episode ends with Horatio counseling the grieving mother as the son is arrested for his crimes.
