Season 7

Wrecking Crew

Joseph Salucci is revealed to be on trial for the murder of a man named AJ Watkins who was responsible for the accidental death of his daughter Emma. The only person who had a chance of putting him away was a witness however he dies before he can testify.

Eventually Horatio and the other CSIs discover AJ's body and learn that he did not die from a gunshot wound. Rather he died of strangulation, it was revealed that Joseph had ordered one his of men to shoot AJ but not kill him. Afterwards he was dragged to the beach right to the spot where Emma died. AJ begged for his life but to no avail as Joseph manually strangled him and buried him afterwards.

After being confronted with this evidence he admits his guilt stating he did what he did for his daughter and is imprisoned.
