Keith Beaumont is a medical doctor who organized the hijacking of a medical helicopter in order to secure a donor liver for his terminally ill wife. The man the liver was intended for was an alcoholic so Beaumont felt that his wife was more deserving of the donor organ. The hijacking resulted in an intern being fatally shot and Beaumont being arrested.
