Roy Davis is a murderer appearing in Helpless in CSI:Crime Scene Investigation.

Roy worked on a horse ranch and was married to a beautiful wife named Melody. She partook in the marketing and paraphilic activities of Zach Fisk, a passionate claustrophiliac, or practitioner of arousal by tight spaces. melody would appear in Fisk's videos and help him sell his products. But when she discussed with Roy sending herself in a parcel box to Fisk's door as a fantasy, Roy made her swear to never go through with it. She planned the experience with Fisk anyway, and when Roy found out, he confronted Fisk at his home while he was in a life-sized hamster ball. When Fisk just talked about how excited Melody was and how Fisk would be Fisk too to open the box, Roy grabbed a statue and beat Fisk to death through the ball, killing him. The ball rolled out of the house, down the street, eventually crashing into a couple's lawn.

Fisk's identiy and house were tracked, as were his pastimes. melody herself arrived when the CSIs were at the house, in the parcel box and dead from suffocation after her organs collapsed from the movement of the box confined with gravity in such a constrained space. Roy was brought in for interrogation and was devastated by Melody's death, denying he killed Fisk. but when he was told his horse feed was on the statue used to kill Fisk, Roy confessed and was arrested and incarcerated.
