The Surveyor's Office Shooter (real name unknown) is a long-deceased mass murderer appearing in Cuckoo's Nest and Manhattanhenge in CSI:NY.
History[]
The shooter was at the NYC surveyor's office arguing with his girlfriend, who worked there. After pulling a shotgun and shooting her, the shooter went around the floor of the building and massacred three other people. Hollis Eckhart, an architect in the office, hid his wife Calliope under his desk while she called the cops with him standing in front of the door to protect her as she did so. However, the shooter saw Hollis and shot through the door, severely maiming Hollis' face and lodging bullet fragments in his brain. Hollis watched in horror as the shooter killed Calliope as well while she was still on the phone, screaming before she was shot dead. The shooter then killed himself, leaving Hollis the only survivor.
